Position: Mechanic – Field Technician (snow protection for trackers) – PV Plant

Job Purpose
Support the site team installing protective roof-like plates on solar trackers to safeguard the PV plant against snow. Follow assembly and safety standards, applying the specified fastener tightening per manufacturer guidance, and report progress/issues to the Site Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Install protection plates on tracker structures per drawings and manuals.
- Tighten fasteners to the indicated setting, ensuring correct fixation.
- Prepare and stage materials (hardware, plates, tools) at the work area.
- Perform basic quality checks: tightening verification, alignment, fastening integrity, and documentation.
- Follow HSE procedures (PPE, LOTO where applicable, area signage) and client rules.
- Report daily progress, issues, and material usage (daily logs, photos, checklists).
- Collaborate to meet daily/weekly production targets.
- Keep the work area clean and safe (5S).
Job Qualifications
- Junior experience in construction/industrial or mechanical assembly.
- Safe use of hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of assembly, fastenings, and recording quality tasks.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and quality standards with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive attitude.
- Immediate availability to start on November 3, 2025.
- Valid driver’s license; own transport is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Preferred: Based in Maine (USA).
Nice to Have
- OSHA-10 certification.
- Prior tracker experience.
- Basic drawing reading.
- Use of checklists/QC.
