Position: Wind Turbine Maintenance & Blade Inspection Technician
Location: North America (USA / Canada) · On-site

Type: Project-based (contract through SEYSES)
Job Purpose
Support the client in inspection, maintenance, and blade diligence services for wind turbine assets across North America.
The role ensures that turbine inspections, electrical maintenance, and blade repair or assessment tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OEM standards (Vestas, GE, Nordex).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbine systems (mechanical and electrical).
- Conduct blade inspections (internal and external) to identify structural or surface damage.
- Document findings using inspection software and reporting tools provided by SEYSES and the client.
- Execute electrical troubleshooting and component replacements following OEM specifications.
- Support blade diligence assessments and contribute to quality verification processes.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and site safety protocols.
- Participate in quality inspections during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools, PPE, and climbing or rope access equipment.
- Report progress, defects, and technical recommendations to project supervisors.
Job Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance, inspection, or blade repair.
- Proven experience with Vestas, Nordex, or GE turbines.
- Experience in blade manufacturing or composite materials is a strong advantage.
- Rope Access (IRATA or SPRAT) certification preferred.
- Familiarity with inspection documentation and digital reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and OSHA/Canadian equivalent standards.
- Ability to travel and work in outdoor/on-site environments.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
