Purpose of the Role
The Site Safety Supervisor will be a dedicated on-site representative responsible for ensuring that all HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environmental) requirements are effectively implemented and maintained as stipulated in the contract. The role also provides guidance and mentorship to the EPC contractor on meeting HSSE standards and offers oversight for overall HSSE performance during the execution phase of the project.
Required Qualifications
– Engineering degree (mandatory).
– All candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar PV and/or BESS construction projects.
– Upper-intermediate to advanced English level (B2–C1).
– Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or industrial safety roles, preferably within renewable energy or large infrastructure projects.
– Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and risk management frameworks. 600-hour course in prevention. OSHAS certification applicable to the performance of their duties.
– Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
